The Central Team can offer a bespoke service in assisting in the management of Health and Safety/Estates in schools. We can offer support and guidance to ensure each setting is managing its arrangements for risk and audit to comply with its statutory duties and the requirements outlined by the HSE and RPA as insurance providers. We have compiled a checklist based on the Good Estate Management in Schools (GEMS) guidance issued by the DfE. This also includes a matrix of statutory and recommended training for the different categories of staff within school settings. We can also provide template policies, risk assessments and resources to assist in managing the day to day requirements.
