The wellbeing of all members of The Sea View Trust and School communities is at the heart of all we strive to achieve. Wellbeing is discussed and developed constantly and is a critical element of our school and Trust development. It is a standard agenda item on many of our school and Trust meetings and is simply a natural part of how we go about our business as caring communities.

All schools within the Trust have adopted the DfE Staff Wellbeing Charter and we strive to maintain the expectations within it, reviewing its elements on a regular basis. Each school has a wellbeing champion who meet collectively across the Trust throughout the year to share best practice in the delivery of wellbeing for the whole Trust community.

2022/23 was our Year of Wellbeing and 2024/25 sees us developing this into our Year of Support. We are steered by the excellent Ann Freud guidance and are soon to embark on the 5 Steps to Mental Health and Wellbeing: a framework for schools and colleges, which will help to further develop the support we can offer to everyone within our schools and Trust communities.
