Testimonials
“A really productive day, with exactly the right balance of professional challenge and support in a process that we were genuinely part of and not ‘done to’. I would wholeheartedly recommend the SEND audit that acknowledges the good practice that exists but makes practical recommendations on how to further strengthen your provision” Andrew Williams, Headteacher of the Rhyddings
“The pre-audit documents really helped us to prepare thoroughly and consider all aspects of our provision. The auditors were extremely supportive throughout the day and offered us great tips and advice on how to improve the provision for our students. The final report gave us some really useful recommendations that we have implemented to improve the provision for our students.” Marcus Philpott, Assistant Vice Principal of the Co-op Academy Leeds

What is a Curriculum Review?
The National Curriculum is just one element in the education of every child and so The Sea View Trust, working with subject leaders across the Trust, has developed its own ‘skeleton’ curriculum. Although fundamentally based upon the key knowledge and skills set out in the National Curriculum, our Trust curriculum fills in the gaps left by generic key stage outcomes to ensure that the core content and specific year group outcomes have been identified in every subject area.
Identification and inclusion of enrichment activities beyond the scope of the National Curriculum combined with opportunities to build on learners’ cultural capital also ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of every learner. Regular curriculum review at both a whole school and subject level ensures that our curriculum is right for our learners and that curriculum leadership is effective.

Testimonials
It was a very well structured, very informative training session. The opportunity for in-depth discussions about SEND in the first part of the training were particularly enjoyable and useful to enhance our knowledge and understanding. The presenter's use of examples and models of an inclusive approach in education were very helpful. - West Northamptonshire SEND Reviewer Trainee 2025

What is a Health and Safety Review?
A Health and Safety Review is a structured, external evaluation of how effectively health and safety is led, managed and embedded across your school or trust. It focuses on reducing risk, strengthening systems and supporting leaders to maintain a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The Central Team can offer a bespoke service in assisting in the management of Health and Safety/Estates in schools. We can offer support and guidance to ensure each setting is managing its arrangements for risk and audit to comply with its statutory duties and the requirements outlined by the HSE and RPA as insurance providers. We have compiled a checklist based on the Good Estate Management in Schools (GEMS) guidance issued by the DfE. This also includes a matrix of statutory and recommended training for the different categories of staff within school settings. We can also provide template policies, risk assessments and resources to assist in managing the day to day requirements.
These services are available without cost to all Sea View Trust schools but if you would like to know more about how an Estates/Health and Safety review may support your school then please contact us at trustoffice@theviewtrust.org

What is a Wellbeing Review?
A Wellbeing Review is a structured, external evaluation of how wellbeing is promoted, supported and sustained for pupils and staff within a school or trust. It focuses on culture, systems and everyday practice, identifying strengths and practical next steps to support positive mental health, staff capacity and a healthy learning environment.
The wellbeing of all members of The Sea View Trust and School communities is at the heart of all we strive to achieve. Wellbeing is discussed and developed constantly and is a critical element of our school and Trust development. It is a standard agenda item on many of our school and Trust meetings and is simply a natural part of how we go about our business as caring communities.
All schools within the Trust have adopted the DfE Staff Wellbeing Charter and we strive to maintain the expectations within it, reviewing its elements on a regular basis. The term “extended school day” encompasses a broad range of opportunities including morning and after school clubs, lunchtime clubs, residential opportunities and holiday clubs, all of which provide children and young people with a rich cultural capital. Therefore, it is important to ensure that our offer is robust, enriching and relevant to our student population.
At The Sea View Trust we have experience in providing a broad range of wider opportunities which have been recognised by OFSTED as ensuring that pupils are happy and well prepared for life beyond school.
