HEADTEACHER (L18 – L24)

Due to the retirement of the current Headteacher, the Trustees of the Sea View Trust are seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational professional to lead the academy on its future journey from Good to Outstanding. 

 

This leadership post is an exciting opportunity to drive continual improvement. The Headteacher will play an integral part in building on the academy’s status, working in partnership with the wider Trust and its academies and CEO to meet changing local needs. More detail about the role is contained in the Job Description in the Candidate pack but a common theme is that the Headteacher will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher, Local Governing Committee, and the Trust Central Team to ensure we provide an outstanding education for our pupil cohorts across Anchorsholme and the wider Trust.

 

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • is an exemplary role model with a proven track record of excellent leadership within a primary setting
  • is able to think strategically and lead school improvement priorities to a successful outcome
  • has the vision and skills to challenge, inspire and lead the staff and pupils to the next level of success
  • is able to support and develop our distinctive child centred ethos
  • has high expectations and the drive, ambition and focus to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to succeed

  • is able to demonstrate they have significant, recent experience of deputy/headship and proven strong, successful leadership and management experience in a school
  • has high standards and expectations, whilst being totally committed to inclusion
  • has professional dedication, commitment and resilience
  • is a confident leader with the ability to empower both staff and pupils to excel
  • Is able to deploy the Academy’s resources to achieve maximum impact on learning and development for all children
