The Sea View Trust was delighted to welcome prospective candidates to its recent Recruitment and Careers Information Event, held across two locations: the Oracle at our Blackpool site in the morning, and the Tor View School Conference Room at our Rossendale site in the afternoon.

Throughout the day, we had the pleasure of meeting a number of enthusiastic and engaged guests keen to learn more about The Sea View Trust, explore career pathways into education, and gain insight into what life is like across our schools and college.

A key highlight of the event was the opportunity for attendees to hear directly from our Deputy CEO, Louise Parrish. Louise spent time speaking with guests about the Trust’s ethos, values, and collaborative approach. She emphasised that The Sea View Trust operates as a supportive network—working alongside schools and colleges rather than above them. As a Trust, we pride ourselves on being a team that stands shoulder to shoulder with our colleagues, offering support in every way possible to enable success for both staff and students.

 

Guests were also encouraged to share their own career journeys and aspirations. These open and insightful conversations allowed Trust and school representatives to offer tailored advice on potential roles and pathways into education, helping attendees to better understand how they could begin or progress their careers with us.

It was truly inspiring to meet so many individuals who are motivated to make a difference in the lives of children and young people through education. The event provided valuable insights not only for attendees but also for us as a Trust, highlighting how we can continue to support those looking to enter the profession.
